Claire Eguibeguy

I graduated in French Literature at Paris La Sorbonne and took a master’s degree in Project Management of Information Science Engineering.  Like many translators, I began my working life in other fields (higher education and hotel industry) before moving into English to French translation.

FREELANCE TRANSLATOR

After a long stay in Canada (near Vancouver), I decided to launch my translation business. I am now back in France to provide my linguistic services (translation from English to French, editing and proofreading)

I have strengthened my skills by obtaining a Master in translation, I chose medicine/pharmacy and tourism/culture as my fields of expertise which means I can offer quality work.

I strive to write clear and relevant content and only accept assignments in my specialty and in French. I work for agencies and local, national and international clients.

Professional Associations and Networks

I am truly passionate about my work and have never stopped studying and learning about my fields of expertise. I regularly attend professional training, conferences and exchanges with professionals to update my knowledge. I am interested in the latest news in my profession. I am a member of the French Society of Translators (SFT), whose code of ethics I respect.
